On the YouTube Channel Techmoan, the host Mat shows how he managed to buy a chocolate record from Etsy and make the record actually play music on a real record player.

Mat bought the record for £26. On the first go, the chosen player destroyed the record, making its own grove. He decided to try again using instead a turntable with a "lighter tracking force."

This time, he used a rare player slightly modified to reduce force between the stylus and the record—he bought a new one with the previous one damaged in his first attempt.

Finally, the record played a gloriously audible "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." Check out the video to hear for yourself.
