The new tax bill is a disaster
I've been reading through the 500-page document proposed last week, and I'm honestly terrified.
Not only does it increase the effective tax rate for the middle class by closing deductions that most families rely on (like the child tax credit adjustment), but it also creates massive loop holes for real estate holding companies.
How is this fair? I'm working two jobs just to make ends meet, and my tax burden is going to go UP? We need to organize and call our representatives. This cannot pass.
It's actually a progressive tax. The rich pay more.
